Encourage more people to ride bicycles by building and selling affordable, high quality bikes;
Teach people how to fix their own bikes by holding regular bike repair classes and providing space, materials and tools for education;
Divert waste from the landfill by accepting used bicycles and parts as donations and re-building and selling reconditioned bikes; and,
Create community for cycling enthusiasts by planning and hosting workshops, special events and community celebrations and by maintaining a location where people can come together to share ideas, inspiration and learn from one another.
Recyclistas is the hub of Greater Victoria’s grassroots cycling community. We are a full-service bicycle repair shop, recycling depot and educational work space. We have a great selection of new and used parts and accessories and used bikes for sale. Since 2003, the bike shop has established itself in the community holding regular bicycle maintenance and repair classes, providing space, materials and tools for bicycle repair and building as many bikes as humanly possible. We divert waste by accepting used bikes and parts as donations and re-building and selling reconditioned bikes.
