Montessori Schoolhouse

The Montessori Schoolhouse in Tucson was founded in 1974 by Regine Ebner, M.Ed. It offers a Preschool, Kindergarten, and Elementary program based on the ideas of Maria Montessori. The school is recognized as one of the best early education programs in Tucson and has received several awards, including the #3 elementary school ranking in the area by Niche.com in 2020. The school expanded to two locations in 1998, after becoming a charter school in 1997. Since then, it has been ranked among the top-performing public schools in Arizona.
