Stepping Stones Early Learning Centre

Stepping Stones Early Learning Centre is a preschool located in Kelowna, BC. It was founded in 2009 by Carolyn Stevenson with the aim of providing quality childcare and shaping young minds. The facility, located on Gordon Drive, was chosen for its size, style, outdoor space, and great location. After purchasing the property, it underwent renovation to become a fully functional learning centre for up to twenty 3-5 year old children. Rupi, the centre director, is a Kelowna native who completed her early childhood education in 2012 and has contributed to several childcare facilities. Teacher Tara Amorim, a recent graduate of the early childhood education program, and Teacher Rhonda, the lead teacher for the 4-year-old program, also play important roles in nurturing children’s curiosity and assisting their development at the preschool. Teacher Angie, an infant toddler educator, brings 12 years of experience to the team. Stepping Stones promotes fun-filled learning through creative exploration and encourages children to develop new skills and build friendships. The teachers are excited to shape and inspire the children at the preschool.
