Tiny Treasures Nursery School

Tiny Treasures is licensed by the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services. It offers half-day programs for children aged 3 to 5 years and must be 3 years old on or before December 31st of the school year and toilet trained. The school maintains a 1:7 teacher/child ratio, with a maximum class size of 21 children and 3 teachers. It offers two different programs – two mornings per week on Tuesday and Thursday or three mornings per week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The school year starts in September and goes until mid-June, with breaks at Christmas and in March. The classes are two and a half hours long, with activities based on Christian principles. It is located at 222 Sackville Drive in the Rock Church building, near Payzants Home Hardware. Inside there are three spacious classrooms, an indoor gym and an outdoor playground. An appointment can be made to tour the facility and meet the experienced teachers.
