Bedford Academy

Bedford Academy is a preschool that takes pride in offering a diverse range of extracurricular activities, including sports and the fine arts. The addition of the Academy Hall gymnasium has elevated their program to a new level, allowing staff to provide a full range of team and individual sports to enhance the physical development of each student. Physical activity is emphasized across all grade levels, and students participate in weekly athletic contests within their intramural houses. The four houses compete for the Wallace Cup, a prestigious annual award. Bedford Academy also offers interscholastic sports through basketball teams and after-school clubs, and they have achieved championships at both regional and provincial levels. In addition to sports, the Academy focuses on creative development through their fine arts program, which includes music, art, and drama. Students have the opportunity to join the senior band, participate in art showcases, and engage in French cultural activities like the French café.
