Gingerbread Nursery School

Gingerbread Nursery School is designed to help each child achieve early learning success. It focuses on developing social and language skills, as well as building phonemic awareness and numeracy skills. Its engaging play-based activities nurture children’s natural love of learning, building their self-confidence for kindergarten and beyond. The day begins with free play and then large group lesson including learning about the weekly theme, a story, songs, and movement activities. Following this there are two groups that complete a craft/table activity and small group play time in the craft room or participate in Show and Tell program, gross motor development activities, and games. Maria Zasada and Anita Seiferling are the teachers at Gingerbread Nursery School. The classrooms are bright, beautiful and spacious while the history of the preschool dates back to the early 1980s.
