Glenlyon Norfolk School – Junior School

The Junior School is located on a beautiful coastline in Oak Bay. Junior Kindergarten through Grade 5 kids attend a school where the ocean serves as their playground and sometimes their classroom.

An environment that follows the Montessori method: Within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, our instructors introduce and apply learning. We are Victoria’s only school that offers this expanded, inquiry-based program.

In our Junior Kindergarten classes, the student-to-teacher ratio is 8:1. Physical Education, French, Music, Art, and Library instructors supplement classroom curriculum by offering specialized education and enrichment.
