The school’s philosophy is based on the educational principles of Maria Montessori, a renowned physician, researcher, peace activist and educator. The goal of Montessori is to create a learning environment that allows children to explore and learn at their own pace. This will help them become more confident and develop self-esteem. Classrooms are structured with materials for visual, aural and kinesthetic learners alike. Teachers engage and instruct children in language, maths, geography, science, art or sensory areas while remaining a quiet guiding presence, believing children learn best through discovery.
