Montessori School of Regina - Pre-Primar

The Montessori School of Regina (MSR) is a private, non-profit and independent school that provides child-centered learning to help each student reach their potential. MSR offers pre-primary programs for children aged 2.5 to 6 including kindergarten year, as well as elementary programs for students up to Grade 8. The school strives to create a respectful and peaceful environment where students can discover their unique talents and develop a foundation for lifelong independent learning.

At MSR, students are provided with diverse experiences and opportunities to make life-long friendships. They observe and learn from their surroundings and gain strong foundations of knowledge and skills, while also connecting with the community. Other activities include learning other languages, going on field trips and gradually becoming more familiar with the area.

Montessori education helps children become adaptable, independent learners who have strong self-esteem and confidence in facing challenges. It also teaches children how to be part of the community by understanding and respecting others, as well as taking responsibility for its success. Conflict resolution is also taught through the ‘Peace Curriculum’, emphasising the importance of finding peaceful solutions.
