Pinetree Montessori School

At Pinetree London, the teaching philosophy of Maria Montessori is followed with the aim to cultivate curiosity, creativity and imagination in all children. The staff helps children in self-directed learning, understanding each one as an independent, competent and curious person. The Montessori curriculum consists of six areas of learning: Sensory Learning, Practical Life, Culture, Languages, Science and Mathematics. The classrooms are arranged to keep the children interested and their interests are heard and taken into account when setting up the environment. Activities include indoor and outdoor play spaces, rest, music, dancing, sports and yoga. Special guests such as Yoga Barb and Sportball are invited to lead activities.
