St Joseph School

St. Joseph Catholic Church & School was founded in 1924 as a daughter parish to serve the eastern area of Des Moines, Iowa. The first pastor, Fr. Francis P. Larkin, purchased property across from Grandview Park amid anti-Catholic sentiment. Today, the parish remains committed to worship, grow, serve, connect, and give, with weekend Masses and faith formation programs for all ages. The school office can be contacted for more information.
