The Hearth Room (School in Kansas City)

The Hearth Room is a private Christian Montessori school in Kansas City that was founded by someone who attended a Montessori school as a child and wanted to incorporate Christian beliefs into the education. The school initially started in a small house but grew quickly and eventually moved to a larger space with two classrooms. After the founder stepped down and new leadership took over, the school drifted away from its original vision and subsequently closed. However, the founder and her husband are now compelled to start another school and refine their vision for education. The school does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin.
