At Local Barre, a low-impact, total body workout is offered which combines elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates with the intention to tone and create lean muscle mass. Intensity is built through high repetition of low impact exercises using low weights and resistance bands. The music helps to trick the mind into pushing the body further. It is recommended to wear athletic/yoga wear that allow for movement and grip socks are mandatory. For first classes, please arrive 15 minutes early and for subsequent classes, 5-10 minutes before class. Lockers are provided to store belongings and Regina location has a shower with towels and hair products. Saskatoon location does not have a shower but has hair supplies available.
