Split Rebel Yoga

Split Rebel Yoga is a black-owned yoga studio in Jackson, Mississippi that specializes on Vinyasa flow. Maya Morris, the studio’s owner and a Mississippi native, founded the facility in her hometown to promote yoga to Jackson’s predominantly black population. The studio is conveniently located downtown at 736 S President St, in the old Dickies building. As a yogi, Maya knew the advantages of yoga and wanted to introduce it to a community that would benefit from a health and wellness program like this.
